Our friends at the Bear Brook Feather Friends Sanctuary & Rescue recently held an open house to introduce the geese, ducks, goats and other animals being cared for on their farm.
Bear Brook Sanctuary strives to ease the suffering of animals from neglect, abuse, or injury by providing a safe and nurturing environment for their care. It also serves as a resource within the community to provide vital information about the care of these animals in their natural habitat.
Requests to take in animals are never turned down and they try to place them with the best mates, so they live a long fruitful life. In a beautiful corner of Sussex County, visitors can volunteer, take tours and interact with all their wonderful creatures, big and small!
